• Cleaning: Gently wipe pieces with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh cleaning products that could damage the surface.
• Water Exposure: While Jesmonite is water-resistant, it is not completely waterproof. To extend the life of your piece, avoid constant humidity or submerging it in water.
• Extreme Temperatures: Jesmonite is also fire-resistant, but it’s best to avoid exposing pieces to high temperatures for extended periods.
• Metal Care: Occasionally apply natural wax or mineral oil to slow the oxidation process. For a more organic, evolving look, you can skip this step and let the metal develop its natural patina over time.
